LIDO shawl is a light accessory for the spring/summer season. It has a crescent shape and is worked top down, from the middle of the top to the lower edge with stripes sections. The stripes are made with Stockinette and Seed Stitch to create a lot of texture in the shawl but still have an easy to work design.

The best yarn choice for this design is a Tencel (Lyocell), Silk or Baby Alpaca yarn to give rise to the shape and the structure of the pattern.

This pattern has a beginner skill level and is suitable for knitting the first crescent shape shawl.
