This pattern is in English.
FYN socks are a minimalistic and modern design for every day. This pattern is made for knitters who like to knit fine socks and who are seeking something different from the classic Stockinette Stitch. The design is fun to knit because of the constant change in the stitch pattern. At the same time, this project is very quick to work without spending any extra time on special stitch knitting techniques.
The socks are worked in round from the 1x1 Ribbing cuff to the tow section. The main stitch pattern is made of Shifted 2x2 Ribbing. The heel is shaped with German Short Rows Technique (Boomerang-Heel) and is worked in Stockinette Stitch. The bottom of the foot section and the toe are also knitted in Stockinette Stitch. The shaping of the toe section is made with stitch decreases.
These fine socks are worked with a classic socks Fingering weight yarn and are suitable for wearing outside with shoes or as relaxing socks at home.
This knitting pattern has an Intermediate Skill Level and is suitable for knitters with some knitting experience or for beginners, looking for a challenging project.
In addition to a written step by step instruction, a schematic and photo-tutorials, you will also find some charts for the Boomerang-Heel Section for every size to make the pattern very easy to follow.
