BIRKENZWEIG Tee (English)

BIRKENZWEIG tee is an elegant and slightly playful design with a classic raglan top down construction. It is inspired by chilly Nordic summer days as well as by the birch trees in the woods or in a city park. The name BIRKENZWEIG means birch branch in German. Enjoy wearing it on long walks in nature or spending time outside with friends on a long summer day.

The tee is knitted top down seamlessly. The neck part is worked flat, using German Short Rows method for shaping the back neck part. After that the design is knitted in rounds. The raglan lines at the yoke are knitted with a beautiful and easy to knit Lace Leaf pattern. All other parts are knitted in simple and plane Stockinette Stitch to create a texture contrast. After dividing the garment in body and sleeve it is continued in Stockinette Stitch. All edges are knitted with 1x1 ribbing.
