BATUMI shawl is a light, playful accessoiry with a twist, suitable for advanced knitters and lace lovers. The contrast between textured Lace Stitch and Stockinette Stitch makes this design modern looking and fun to knit.

The shawl is worked flat top down, from the middle of the top to the lower tip with stitch sections. The beginning with Stockinette Stitch allows the knitter to become familiar with the shawl shaping and the increases. After that, a section with the Lace Stitch brings a lot of change and fun to the knitting process. The second section of Stockinette Stitch creates a small break from challenging Lace Part. At the end a smaller section of Lace Stitch and Garter-Stitch-Cast-Off are finishing the shawl.
